		<description><![CDATA[The organic movement in wine is one of the most important developments in the wine world in recent years. Whether or not it results in superior wines is difficult to say with any certainty, but that is a separate argument that I will not pursue here. Rather, I want to focus on the efforts to produce organic wine in Long Island, which represents a special viticultural challenge.
